VLADIMIR GRIGORYEVICH VEISBERG (1924-1985)
Painter, graphic artist. Studied at the Studio of fine arts at the All-Union Central Committee of Trade Unions under S.Ivashov-Musatov (1943-48), attended I.Mashkov's and A.Osmyorkin's studios. Participant of exhibitions from 1956. Taught painting at the studio of improvement of professional skill of the Union of Architects ("Veisberg's school", 1959-1984). Made report "Classification of main types of colour perception" at the symposium on analysis of semiotical systems in the USSR Academy of sciences (1962), elaborated theory "the white on the white". Displayed his works in Moscow, Leningrad, Tbilisi and abroad: in England, Italy, France (1978), Switzerland, Germany (1979, 1988) and many others.
