NIKOLAI YEVGENYEVICH VECHTOMOV (Born in 1923)
Painter. Studied at the School in memory of 1905 (1949-51) under M.Perutsky, K.Dorokhov, S.Boym, V.Rubanov. From the middle 1950s got acquainted with the artists founded "The Lianozovo group", became its member. One of the leaders of the "informal art" movement. Participant of exhibitions from 1961 (his personal exhibition). Exhibited his works in Moscow and abroad: in Italy (1969, 1978), Switzerland (1970, 1978), Germany (1974, 1979), France, Japan (1978), the USA (1981) and many others. Personal exhibitions: Moscow (1969, 1983), Germany (1991), Khabarovsk (1995), Moscow (1996).
