IVAN SERGEEVICH FEDOTOV (1881-1951)
Painter, graphic artist, theatre designer. Studied at the Stroganov school (1893-1901) under N.Andreev, S.Vinogradov, S.Ivanov, F.Shekhtel. Was under influence of A.Golovin and N.Roerich. Worked at a private opera house (1902) and at Zymin's private opera house. (1908-1918), at the Soviet Army Theatre (1932-1951). Designed more than 150 performances. Exhibitor of "The Jack of Diamonds". His works are kept in the Theatre Museum named after Bakhrushin and in private collections.
