IVAN ALEXEEVICH KUDRYASHOV (1896-1972)
Painter, graphic artist, theatre designer. Studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculture and Architecture (1912-17), at "The Free Workshops" (1918-19) in Moscow under K.Malevich. Participant of exhibitions from 1919 ("The Establishers of New Art" in Orenburg, "The Society of Easel Painters", etc.). Participated in designing of holidays (1918) in Moscow. Taught at "The Free Workshops" (1919-21) in Orenburg and Smolensk, made a project of the Red army summer theatre (1920), founded group "The Establishers of New Art" in Orenburg. From 1921 worked in Moscow designing theatre sceneries. Member of "The Society of Easel Painters" (1925-31), member of "The Brigade of Artists" (1931). Created products of painting and graphic art under the influence of K.Tsiolkovsky's space ideas.
