VITOLD KAETANOVICH BYALYNITSKY-BIRULYA (1878-1968)
Studied at the Kiev Draftsmanship school (1885-1889) under N.I.Murashko, at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1889-1897) under S.A.Korovin, V.D.Polenov, I.N.Pryanishnikov. Member of the Society of Itinerant Art Exhibitions (from 1904), the Moscow Association of Artists (from 1907), the Union of Artists of Revolutionary Russia (from 1922), the Society of Realist Artists (from 1928). His main genre is landscape. His works are housed in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Yaroslavl State Regional Museum, A.S.Pushkin`s Museum and other museums.
