NIKOLAI NIKOLAYEVICH RUDOLF (1894-1973)
Painter, graphic artist. His first teacher of drawing was Shebuev (professor of the Academy of Arts of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic). Studied in Munich, at Azbe`s and Greber`s studios (1911-1913), at the Kazan art school (1915-1917). Worked in Moscow. Taught at the man's grammar school in Kislovodsk (1919-1921). Member of the "Workers` Art", then "Education", the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia. Was engaged in propaganda activity. In the 1950-60s taught at schools of the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
